The National Hispanic Institute is easily the program that has made me the person I am today. Once a timid and shy person, who was nervous to present or speak in front of a small crowd, the National Hispanic Institute fosters an environment for me to embrace my heritage and culture and equips me with the leadership, public speaking, and opportunities I need to excel in an increasingly competitive world. Going to Panama and advocating for the Hispanic Community, as well as using my leadership abilities to change the world mean everything to me, and your donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in my future. Part of being in The National Hispanic Institute is participating in programs each year that utilize the skills you have been taught over the course of training. As a freshman, I participated in Sherman College's Great Debate. Now that I am a sophomore, I hope to participate in the Lorenzo de Zavala Youth Legislation Session in Panama. Of course, everything comes at a cost; even $5 donated to my cause would help to reach my goal, and achieve my dreams. I hope you will consider making a donation to benefit not only me, but all of the youth that hope for a better future through the National Hispanic Institute.
